About Us:
Lynwood academy of dance was established in 1986. We are based in the village of Staplehurst, just outside of Maidstone. We are a small school which achieves big results!
We provide tuition in RAD and BTDA training methods, as well as examinations for those who are interested.
The school is committed to providing a high quality of dance training as well as many performance opportunities, through shows, fetes and performance awards.
All our teachers are fully qualified, DBS checked, as well as first aid trained and certificates in child safe guarding.
The school offers a range of classes for children aged 3 years and upwards.

At our studio, we believe that little children love to dance and move, and our classes provide them with the perfect opportunity to do just that. But it’s not just about dancing, it’s about developing confidence, poise, and having fun while making new friends.
Our preparatory class for 3-4 year olds is filled with lots of props and activities that are designed to help children develop their physical and creative skills. Through the use of musicality, creativity, and individual interpretation, we aim to foster a love for ballet from a young age. Our experienced instructors create a nurturing environment where children can explore their creativity and express themselves through movement.
